This movie is the highest rated Thor movie for very good reason, Taikia Waititi hit the nail on the head with this superhero flick. He brought the action, the comedy but most importantly the story! We meet Hela in this feature, played by Cate Blanchett who is easily one of the greatest villains brought into the MCU to date. I adore this movie, it is easily one of the most re-watchable and quotable Marvel movies. Thor Ragnarok never fails to bring a smile to my face and make me laugh, the cameos are golden and the jokes are perfect.
This movie is the perfect balance of superhero and comedy, recently Marvel movies are becoming too meta, too aware of themselves and trying too hard to be comedic. Ragnarok balances the jokes with genuine story and action, this is an example of a perfectly executed superhero movies. Continuously entertaining and beyond memorable, this movie stands high above the rest and continues to remain one of my all time favourites, along with most Marvel fans.
